I recently had the pleasure of staying at HUUS Gstaad Hotel for one night, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations.

The check-in process was smooth, and the friendly staff informed me that breakfast was included—a delightful surprise. I was also invited to enjoy a complimentary welcome drink at the cozy lobby bar, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for my stay.

Alpine-Inspired Room — Stepping into my room, I was struck by the alpine-inspired design that blends traditional warmth with modern aesthetics. The dark tones, accented by bright accessories and warm lamps, created an inviting space. The beds, crafted by the famous Swedish manufacturer Hästens, ensured a comfortable night's sleep—making it easy to see why the HUUS Gstaad Hotel rooms are a guest favorite.

One of the highlights of staying at HUUS Gstaad Hotel is the stunning balcony views. My room overlooked the majestic Rüeblihorn mountain, offering a peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy the Swiss landscape. Guests can start their day with breakfast at the main hotel restaurant or opt for a more intimate dining experience at La Vue, the à la carte restaurant. I dined at La Vue and was treated to a front-row seat by the open show kitchen. Watching the talented team, led by head chef Giuseppe Colella, prepare culinary delights was a memorable experience. The fresh ingredients and creative dishes make La Vue at HUUS Gstaad Hotel a must-try for food lovers.

Leisure Activities — HUUS Gstaad Hotel makes it easy to get out and explore the Swiss Alps. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of the hotel's Mondraker e-MTBs and Rocky Mountain mountain bikes, free to use throughout your stay. A range of other outdoor activities—such as rafting, mountain biking, Nordic walking, and guided hiking tours—can also be arranged through the hotel's partner, Alpinzentrum Gstaad. Please note these are no longer included in the room rate, but they remain a great way to experience the region for all levels of fitness.

Update: Since my original visit, the hotel's all-inclusive activity programme has changed. The complimentary e-MTB and MTB use remains, but the other leisure activities (rafting, hiking tours, etc.) are now arranged separately through Alpinzentrum Gstaad rather than being included in the room rate.
