5 Places to visit in Dubai
Updated: Jan 28
Dubai is an amazing city full of contrasts. Despite not being its capital, it is one of the most spectacular places to see in the United Arab Emirates. It is curious to think of the change it has experienced. Today's city has nothing to do with that fishing port in the 1960s, when the first oil field was found. From then on, if you have to put just one adjective, that would be extravagant. You won't be short of things to do in Dubai, where everything is bigger and more luxurious than necessary.
So here my 5 places that you need to visit in Dubai:
Desert Safari
A desert safari in Dubai is one of the best experiences you can enjoy in this city of infinite and constantly evolving skyscrapers.
I advise you to go to the Arabian desert that surrounds the city, where I am sure, you will live an unforgettable experience. I had a very good experience with Platinum Heritage Safari, I totally recommend them.
With great sand dunes, this desert located among the driest and largest on the planet, is perfect to release adrenaline while surfing the dunes and disconnecting from the noise of the great metropolis.
After witnessing an unforgettable sunset, you can end the evening with a dinner show in a camp provided with a series of activities that are not less entertaining because they are touristy: dancing, tattooing with henna, smoking shisha, dressing up as Arabs or Riding a camel is one of the things to do in Dubai and on this excursion you can do all of them.

Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa is without a doubt the place to visit in Dubai!
The tallest skyscraper in the world (828 meters) has been open to the public since 2010 and has quickly become the symbol of the city.
Every day thousands of visitors flock to the tower and take one of the fastest elevators in the world to climb to the observation decks located on floors 124 and 125.
From there, you can enjoy an extraordinary panorama over the entire city!
And that's not the highest point yet!
You can even go up to the 148th floor, to reach the highest observation deck in the world (555 m high).
You should visit the Burj Khalifa at night, to enjoy the view over the illuminated city from the highest observation deck in the world.

Burj Al Arab
The Burj Al-Arab is the tallest hotel in the world, at 321 meters high. Its design is reminiscent of the sail of the dhow, the typical Arab ship. In addition, it has a 7-star rating and is therefore also the most luxurious. It is located on its own artificial island, which can only be accessed if you are a hotel customer paying around € 1500 per night.
But don't worry, if you can't wait to get in, you can do it for a lot less by reserving a meal at their restaurant.
You can also have tea at the Skyview Bar 200 meters high. If you don't have a credit card limit, you can dine watching marine life as if you were in an aquarium at the Al-Mahara restaurant.

Sunset at the palm
With the brilliant architecture of modern times, Palm Jumeirah is unsurpassed for its epic views. To enjoy the enchanting sunset view, you must head over to the Palm Foundation to see the ethereal scene of twilight turning into twilight with the palm in the background. You can also experience sunrise near the largest fountain in the world in this area. This place offers beautiful views for taking pictures and is one of the best places for food lovers.

Madinat Jumeirah
Madinat Jumeirah is not a traditional souk but one of the most attractive shopping galleries in Dubai. Strolling through it reminds us of an ancient Arab city, both its interior and exterior architecture.
In the Souk Madinat Jumeirah you will not be able to appreciate the colors of the nuts, cereals and spices. But instead we will see stalls with local crafts in the main hall. And on the south side you reach the canals that have given it the nickname of Little Venice or the Venice of the Middle East. While strolling through Madinat Jumeirah it is possible to see the surroundings of hotels such as Al-Qasr and Mina A`Salam. In addition to exploring the many terraces in the area (it is possible to find beautiful views of the wind towers). Thus, it is an ideal place to enjoy local and international cuisine and do your shopping.
