Located in the upscale shopping and lifestyle destination of Hudson Yards, Queensyard is making waves with its bright, open space and breathtaking views of The Vessel through its floor-to-ceiling windows. As part of the D&D London hospitality group, Queensyard brings a touch of British flair to the bustling culinary scene in New York City.

Walking into Queensyard, visitors are greeted by a design that defies easy categorization. It neither fits the mold of a traditional English home nor resembles an airport lounge. Instead, the restaurant's ambiance merges curvaceous chairs, upholstered booths, and Thames River murals to create an atmosphere of casual luxury that captivates patrons for hours.

The restaurant boasts nearly 12,000 square feet, accommodating three distinct eating zones: a luxurious dining room with panoramic windows, a more relaxed "kitchen" area for casual bites, and a delightful coffee/wine bar.

The dining room offers an array of dishes that cater to diverse palates, such as the delightful Dover sole with roasted cauliflower puree, the juicy baked Lancaster chicken complemented by natural jus, and the luscious Burgundy truffle risotto that could rival any Italian eatery.

Food review Queensyard

The first dish that caught my attention was the BROOKLYN BURRATA, and it did not disappoint. The creamy and luscious burrata paired perfectly with the sweetness of fresh cherries, and the sumac croutons added a delightful crunch to every bite. The cherry vinaigrette brought a burst of tangy goodness that balanced the dish beautifully. At just 25 USD, this appetizer was a steal for the explosion of tastes it offered.

Moving on to the main course, the SQUID INK LINGUINE was a true masterpiece. The jet-black linguine had a visually striking appeal and a flavor that was out of this world. The tender lobster chunks nestled amidst the pasta, providing a delightful seafood essence. The leek cream sauce was a stroke of genius, bringing a velvety smoothness to the dish that left me craving for more. At 59 USD, this indulgent dish was worth every penny, as it exemplified culinary excellence.

Overall, queensyard impressed me with its inventive and expertly crafted dishes. The combination of fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative flavor pairings showcased the chef's talent. While the prices were on the higher side, the exceptional dining experience made it all worthwhile. I would gladly return to queensyard to savor their delectable offerings again and again.

In conclusion, Queensyard at Hudson Yards presents a distinctive British culinary adventure in the heart of New York City. The restaurant's appealing space, diverse food offerings, and unique cocktail experiences make it a destination worth exploring for locals and tourists alike. With time, Queensyard has the potential to become a celebrated dining spot and a culinary gem in the vibrant landscape of Hudson Yards.
